The classic wash day routine
- Clean with shampoo or co-wash - suitable for your collection (Acticurl, Actiforce, etc.).
- Work inconditioner or mask - leave on for 3-5 minutes as a conditioner, 30 minutes as a mask. Comb and detangle curls, then rinse.
- Leave-in on towel-dried hair - work in section by section. Do not rinse out.
- Optional: Curl oil as an O-step for high porosity hair.
- Styling with Curl Activator Gel, Mousse or Jelly - scrunch onto damp curls.
- Dry with the diffuser or allow to air dry.

Activilong is largely compatible with the Curly Girl Method according to Lorraine Massey. Most products are free from sulphates, silicones and parabens. However, some products contain medium protein or other ingredients that are not fully CGM compliant.

7. typical problems & solutions with Activilong
Too much product or wrong line. For wavy/fine hair: choose lighter Acticurl products, apply smaller amounts.
Leave-in alone is often not enough. Apply Curl Activator Gel to very damp hair and do not touch until dry.
Protein-moisture imbalance possible. Use filter "without protein" or switch to Acticurl.
