Hyangsu’s Bélen solid shampoo is a rich, lovingly handmade cleanser from Switzerland for dry, damaged, or brittle curls. Formulated with banana powder, camellia oil, phytokeratin, and marshmallow root powder, it nourishes your hair while you wash it, giving it new suppleness, strength, and natural shine.

Hyangsu was founded out of a love for natural skincare and a desire to create simple, honest products that respect the skin, hair, and the environment in equal measure. Bélen is especially great for curls that feel dry, coarse, or a little lackluster. The banana powder is made from 100% dried fruit pulp and is a little gem for caring for curls and skin. It’s rich, nourishing, and helps make curls appear softer, smoother, and more vibrant. The mucilage it contains provides a pleasantly creamy texture that makes detangling easier and gently coats the curls without weighing them down.

Key Ingredients and Their Effects:

Banana Powder Banana powder is exceptionally rich and provides intensive nourishment for dry, damaged, or brittle curls. It restores suppleness, strength, and natural shine to the curl structure. The natural mucilage helps gently coat the curls and makes detangling easier without weighing them down.

Camellia Oil
Camellia oil is a delicate, nourishing plant oil that gives curls suppleness and makes them appear softer. It is especially great for curls that need more shine and a well-nourished appearance.

Phytokeratin
Hydrolyzed wheat protein, also known as phytokeratin, supports the curl structure and helps strengthen weakened or damaged curls. It can give curls more elasticity, body, and resilience.

Marshmallow Root Powder
Marshmallow root is known for its natural mucilage. It makes curls more supple, makes detangling easier, and leaves hair feeling soft and well-conditioned.

Glycerin
Glycerin helps lock in moisture in the curls and leaves hair feeling soft and conditioned after washing.

Usage: Thoroughly wet the solid shampoo and either rub it directly onto your wet scalp or work it between your hands to create a lather. Gently massage the creamy lather into your scalp with your fingertips, then let it glide through the lengths of your hair.

Then rinse thoroughly. For particularly dry or damaged curls, follow up with a conditioner to keep your curls soft, manageable, and nourished.

After use, let the shampoo dry thoroughly, preferably on a soap dish or an airy rack. This will keep it firm and ensure it lasts a long time.
