This conditioner nourishes the hair noticeably, I am thrilled.
I've only ever detangled with my fingers, but I'm now thrilled with this brush. It's great for my type 4 hair, I use it to distribute the deep conditioner better and massage the scalp, it goes through the hair like butter and is very easy to wash out after use.
I like both products, I had trouble finding a leave-in that was light but still moisturized for at least 2-3 days. After washing, I apply a generous amount of the leave-in and gel to wet hair lengths and work the product into the lengths using the "raking method". However, I have added 25% water to the leave-in because otherwise it is too sticky for me. The gel doesn't leave me with a cast, it seems to me to be quite subtle in terms of definition for a gel. I dry my hair with the diffuser attachment and it is soft. For me, it is extremely important to have wet hair for maximum definition of curls. As soon as they were a little dry, I couldn't get any more definition, so I simply sprayed them with clean water again. I refreshed my hair with "Leave In Water" about 5% Leave In dissolved in water, simply sprayed it on the hair, shook my head and the definition was back, but it only works for about three days in a row, after that I have to work in a little product again. :-)
