Hot Head is a deep conditioning hood that can be warmed up in the oven or microwave. With the Hot Head hood the effect of hair masks, oil applications and other deep treatments is enhanced. The heat under the hood opens the dandruff, so that the applications can penetrate better and deeper into the hair and nourish and heal it from the inside out.

Warming up (microwave): at 1000 watts (elastic band facing upwards) for 45 seconds, turn the hood upside down and warm it up again for 45 seconds at 1000 watts, repeat this step 2 or 3 times depending on the desired heat. (Oven): at 160 degrees for about 5 minutes. (circulating air)

Application: After you have massaged the mask into your curls, cover them with a plastic shower cap and apply the Hot Head Mask over them, leave on for approx. 20-30 minutes, then rinse off.

Care: Simply clean with warm water and mild soap, do not completely submerge or wet.

Content: Organically grown linseed.

Insider tip for longer warmth

If you wear the terry side facing outwards and the smooth colored side facing inwards, it will stay warm for longer. Warm it "the right way round" in the oven, then turn it over and put it on your head. It gets very warm and stays that way for a long time. To avoid having to heat it twice if you are doing a 1-hour treatment, you can also put a towel over it. This way it is double insulated and stays really warm for a long time. If you wear it without anything with the outside out, it is cold again after 15 minutes :) and here is my rating in addition to the tip, I have low porosity waves and pretty much nothing penetrates my hair and water rolls off completely in the shower. The cap has saved my hair. Moisture from the mask finally gets into my hair! I am very very very happy and finally no dry hair

The Heat Cap fits comfortably, can be heated quickly and easily in the microwave and sits comfortably for an hour or more.
Although it is a little expensive, it was worth buying for me.
The only drawback from my point of view is that it can't be washed. So I go to great lengths to avoid getting any hair products on it and always wear a thin plastic shower cap underneath.

I've only managed to use it once so far but I was very happy both with how easy it was to use and how lovely and soft my hair was afterwards. It does seem to give the deep conditioner that bit extra. Happy I invested in it.

One of the best purchases I've made for my curls. Whenever I apply my hair mask and then put on the wonderful warm heat cap, I feel extremely relaxed. This allows the mask to absorb wonderfully and my curls look beautiful after the finished care and styling! A must-have for all curly heads!
