Dear Curly Heads
Today I would like to share with you a very simple, but effective recipe that Curls vitality and vitamins. Yes, even the curls like and need vitamins to develop their natural power, strength and shine. The recipe consists of ingredients that you probably all have in the kitchen.
For this curl mask you need
Ingredients:
2 bananas*
2 oranges
5 tsp honey
Preparation of the curling mask:
Put the two orange presses and the juice together with the two bananas into the blender, the five teaspoons into the blender as well. All good Mixing. The mixed mass is then passed through a very fine sieve, better through a stocking or press. We do this so that the mass is freed from all residues. We really only want the pure liquid.
The hair mask application:
Wash the curly mane with shampoo and dry the hair with a towel. For this hair mask the curls should still be slightly damp, not too damp. Now put the hair mask into the Curly crown massage. So that the curls are well and evenly covered with the mask. Now cover the hair with a shower cap and let it work for at least one hour. Then wash the curls well without shampoo. Now a Detangle Cream massage your hair and comb your curls. Et voila.
*Interesting story about the banana:
The banana found its way into the western world relatively late, the originator of its popularity is none other than the French writer Jules Vernes. He praised the banana for its creamy softness and nutritiousness, in his book: "The Mysterious Island." The publication of this adventure novel triggered a veritable "run" on the banana. It is also due to the banana and the book that El Salvador is still a corrupt and impoverished country. Because resourceful American businessmen exploited the land for their plantations, but that's another story.
So my dear curly-haired friends, that's it for now from me.
See you soon,
Cordially
Rosa Maria

Instead of using normal, commercially available honey, I recommend Manuka honey with a high MGO value. Manuka honey contains a lot of methylglyoxal (MGO) and antioxidants, which makes it ideal for a hair mask. Normal honey also has some methylglyoxal but Manuka has up to 100x more of it. In Switzerland you can find manuka with a low MGO value (100-150) in any drugstore or pharmacy. If you are looking for manuka with more MGO, you will find it at www.mymanuka.ch. Here you can find cheap manuka with up to 820+ MGO.

Thank you for your wonderful tips! How often do you use the banana-orange mask and is agave syrup a good choice instead of honey?
