Hello dear curly heads,
Today I would like to share another DIY recipe with you. It's a mask that restores the scalp's natural moisture. Especially in winter, when the scalp is exposed to the cold outside and the heat inside, it is under a lot of strain. The skin dries out and dandruff can form. I think of it like flowers - my curls need a healthy base. For this mask you need:
Quantities for a medium-length head of curls:
(2 tablespoons each, ginger approx. 3 cm piece)
- Molasses (it also works with honey only)
- Honey
- A good oil of your choice
- Hair mask (whatever you prefer)
- Peeled ginger
Press the ginger through a sieve into a cup or bowl using a garlic press. Stir in the remaining ingredients and then massage well into the scalp. If there is any left over, I distribute it through the hair, as all the ingredients are also very nourishing for the curls.
Leave on for about 30 to 60 minutes. Then rinse well and finish with conditioner.
I hope this recipe helps you through the winter! 😊
Cordially,
Rosa Maria
