The shampoo soap for flaky scalp with organic rosemary, organic nettles and lavender is a natural cleanser for your curls and Afro hair. ŌMAKA consciously avoids aggressive ingredients that are not good for your hair and scalp in the production of their shampoo soaps. The changeover phase to a shampoo soap can take 4-6 weeks. If you have hard water, we recommend that you make a vinegar rinse (see application recommendation).

The carefully selected plant power gives your stressed scalp a new start for regeneration with every hair wash. Cold-pressed organic certified oils such as jojoba, olive, almond and coconut oil nourish every single curl.

Scent: Natural gentle scent of lavender

Application: Simply wet the hair properly and apply the shampoo soap directly to the wet hair. You can also lather up the shampoo soap with your hands and massage the resulting foam into your hair. The hair soap must be washed out completely, otherwise your hair will feel waxy. After use, store the hair soap in a dry place, not in the shower.

Note: If your hair feels unfamiliar after washing it with the shampoo soap, there is no need to worry. This is usually over after an adjustment period of 6-8 weeks. Your hair must completely wash out the previous shampoo that coated your hair. Especially if you have previously used conventional shampoos with silicone, the changeover to a hair soap will take a little longer.

How to get your curls back into shape

Say bye-bye to dry, brittle and difficult-to-comb curls. Especially at the beginning of the transition from chemical to natural hair products or in very hard water, ŌMAKA recommends using the Repair & Care 2-1 Conditioner after shampooing. Your hair will be noticeably softer, more defined and easy to comb.

Another variant would be a vinegar rinse:

• 1-2 tablespoons vinegar (e.g. apple cider vinegar) or lemon juice
• 1 litre cold water

Mix the ingredients together and rinse the hair with it. Do not rinse afterwards. The scent of vinegar disappears after a short time.

Self collection 

You can choose the option "Self-collection" at the checkout, then your order will be in the lockenkopf mailbox by 4 pm at the latest and can be collected by you. (Except Saturday & Sunday)
